Leadership Skills for Executives - Toastmasters Can Help!

Wells Fargo President and Chief Operating Officer John Stumpf: "I’m often asked how Wells Fargo team members can get ahead. As a veteran Toastmaster, I see great things for leaders engaged in this development opportunity. In fact, the future is promising when one can speak with a deeply rooted sense of enthusiasm and clarity, which are taught through Toastmasters." Read the entire letter.

Welcome Lisa Jenks, District 6 Public Relations Officer (PRO)

Welcome Lisa Jenks as the District 6 Public Relations Officer.

Lisa joined Toastmasters 2 ½ years ago. In that short time, she has organized an Adopt-a-Highway program at Marsh Winds, set two world records with www.urdb.org - Most People Simultaneously Answering a Table Topics Question at a Toastmasters Event and Greatest Age Range Among Attendees at a Toastmasters Event. Last year she organized a group outing to a Twins game with the club names posted on the big screen - AND members leading the crowd on the big screen in "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the seventh inning stretch.

Lisa already plans for all of us to set yet another world record during lunch at the February 20 TELI. You won’t want to miss it! She is excited by the possibilities in promoting District 6 clubs and Toastmasters! Feel free to contact her through the District 6 website Contact form.

Let's Set Another World Record!

Come for the Education!
Stay for the Luncheon and World Record!

That's right, District 6 Toastmasters will be setting a new world record at the TELI luncheon - and YOU can be a part of it!

What is the record, you ask? We can't tell you that, but we can tell you that it features Toastmasters at their best, that it will be exceptionally fun, and that we need you to participate! The world record will be videotaped and posted to the Universal Record Database (www.urdb.org).

So, please, join us for the full TELI experience - the educational sessions, the luncheon, 1999 World Champion of Public Speaking - and the world record!

Is Your Club's Information Correct at TI?
