HealthToasters captured the EGG on September 2 from Hutchinson Toastmasters II.

HealthToasters meets at 11:45 AM each Monday at the HealthPartners Administration building in Bloomington on the Light Rail at Bloomington Central Station, near the Mall of America. For details, see the club website at: http://healthtoasters.freetoasthost.net/. Next meeting Sept 13.

It was a dark and stormy night…

Randy Haukom and Duane Noto made the trek on September 2, 2010 to Hutchinson. It seemed the middle of the night with the heavy rain storms dominating the atmosphere. The hopeful pirates left the HealthToasters club location vicinity by 5:30 am in order to reach the EGG hosting club by their 7:00am start time. As they approached Hutchinson the skies brightened and the rain stopped. As they entered the Hutchinson II club meeting room, their spirits were elevated too as they learned they were the only visiting club represented.

The Hutchinson II club welcomed them warmly knowing it was inevitable for the EGG to be leaving. Still, the spirits of the Hutchinson club were slightly dampened as they reluctantly let go of the EGG after having just acquired it August 24. It was the fifth time Hutchinson II club has held the EGG and they were used to holding it for a longer duration. A Club may only capture the EGG once per 3 month period. The Hutchinson club has marked the calendar for their next quest.

Randy and Duane were treated to an excellent meeting. It was the TableTopics and Humorous Speech Contest date for the club.
