Contest Mastery

Power Speakers Toastmasters Club
Is your home club unable to schedule you for the longer projects required in Levels 4 & 5, Like ‘Moderate a Panel Discussion,’ ‘Ethical Leadership’ or ‘Prepare to Speak Professionally’? Power Speakers may be a perfect fit for you as a second club! This Club meets on the second Friday of each month. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m., but the end-time is flexible. If scheduled speakers have long presentations, we can always fit them in (and just sleep in on Saturday morning!) Since the club meets only once a month, it is only a minimal commitment on the members’ time. On top of that, the club gets together before the start of each meeting for a potluck dinner!

Poetry Masters
Poetry Masters studies a different famous poet each month and meets once a month to share speeches about the featured poet, read their poetry and discuss in breakout rooms like a book-club. Then each meeting closes with time to share members poems or a poem they found and want to share!
Poetry Slams – two months per year they do a member poetry slam where the entire club meeting is sharing poems (your own or published works)
