Announcement: Outstanding Member!

Jennifer Jensen is being recognized as an outstanding member by Program Quality Director, Distinguished Toastmaster Deb Luu. Jennifer joined SUPER Communicators in November 2020. In Jennifer’s role as an email marketing manager, she has become more comfortable communicating in the written form. When she changed jobs from being a director leading cross-functional projects in a small company to becoming an individual contributor in a very large company, opportunities for public speaking diminished and she found herself getting rusty and losing confidence. Jennifer joined Toastmasters with the goals of elevating the quality of her public speaking/presentation skills, regaining the ability to impact and influence others through dialogue and becoming more comfortable holding a conversation with anyone she meets in any type of situation. Within 5 months she stepped up to be the Contest Chair for SUPER Communicators Club speech contests. She worked with her mentor and did her homework. The club contests ran smoothly. She is discovering that there is much more than just preparing for and delivering a speech; she’s becoming eager to explore additional opportunities and roles through her Toastmasters journey.
