This award was created in 2005 to honor Lou Novak. Lou was a member of Midland Toastmasters for over 40 years. He served District 6 as an Area Governor, Division Governor, and District Governor 1981/1982. He also served on the Toastmasters board of directors as Region IV International Director 1985/1987. Lou was a key member of the District 6 25-year club. Lou was particularly gifted in club building. During his years in Toastmasters, Lou was instrumental in chartering over 100 clubs. Lou’s Toastmaster friends established this award in his memory.
