New Year, New Clubs, New Coaches!

It is a new Toastmaster year, and I am thrilled to be the District 6 Club Growth Director. I am excited for the year ahead. We have untapped opportunities to investigate and share with you. In this newsletter, we will be publishing regular updates and Toastmaster announcements, and news for club growth to keep you informed of opportunities.

We are ready to start new clubs! We are looking forward to hearing your ideas and suggestions for new clubs. If you have a group, community, union, school, or company that would like to start a club please let me know. As your Club Growth Director, I am going to help you with the steps to make that new club idea a reality. We also plan to offer incentives to folks who submit leads that launch new clubs. We are excited to hear your ideas! District leadership is reviewing all incentive proposals for approval. Check our future newsletters for more details and specifics about our 2024 incentive initiatives. If you want to help start new clubs, you can apply to be a sponsor; if you want to help a new club succeed apply to be a club mentor. Our application form is on our website Current Openings – District 6 Toastmasters (d6tm.org). If you have leads for new clubs or folks looking to launch a club, I am here to talk to you about your new club idea and help make it a reality.

We are also looking to strengthen our existing District 6 clubs. Clubs with fewer than 13 members can get a coach to help them thrive and grow. We can use your help as a club coach. This is an excellent skill-building and networking opportunity. You can sign up to be a coach and we will align you to a good match. Let us know if you have any preference to coach a community or corporate club. Let us know if you want to coach a club in a specific area of District 6, or if you prefer to coach an online club. We will find a good match for you to coach. Help these clubs succeed by becoming their coach. Please apply to be a coach Here
