The Importance of Consistency in Social Media Marketing

Consistency is key in social media marketing. For your audience to recognize your brand, you must be consistent. Being consistent in your brand allows you to grow in audience engagement and reach. From the tone of voice used in messages to the aesthetics of your profiles, you need to be recognizable to gain traction among your intended audience.

There are four areas in which, to ensure, you are being consistent: voice, content, posting, and aesthetics.

First, understand who your club is speaking to when posting on social media. You know who you are, what you do, and why it matters to people.

Second, show what you know and share what your audience will find relevant to their lives. The goal is to be relevant and authentic.

Third, find a balance when posting content. Make sure that you aren’t posting too much of a certain type of content and not enough of another.

Finally, keep your posts to an appropriate length and your profile needs to have visual appeal. People are visual creatures and are naturally attracted to aesthetically appealing visuals.

Try these four concepts in your marketing for the next few months and see if it helps draw people to your club.
