Speechcraft Reimbursement Request

Guidelines:

In previous years the district has covered the cost of Speechcraft materials to encourage clubs to host speechcraft events. Toastmasters International (TI) will be discontinuing the printed manuals and have stopped selling them as of January 31, 2021. The district will continue to supply the manuals at no cost to clubs until the supply is depleted. Note that credit for speechcraft utilizing the manuals will only be provided by TI through the end of the 2020-2021 Toastmasters year.

TI now has a digital bundle available to clubs. With this option the Speechcraft host or club will be responsible for covering the costs of the digital bundle(s.) We highly encourage you to recoup the costs by a nominal charge to the Speechcraft Participants. For any clubs that are not charging for their Speechcraft event, District 6 will reimburse the first 20 digital bundles for completed Speechcraft events in the 2022-2023 Toastmasters year. We will reevaluate this program every year.

In order to request reimbursement the Speechcraft host or the club treasurer who covered the cost of the Speechcraft will submit a request on the District 6 website providing their name, member number, contact information and information on the Speechcraft event that was held. The District Finance Manager will then request access to concur for that member if they do not have it already. The member requesting reimbursement will need to set up their concur account to process the reimbursement request.
