District Leadership Committee (DLC)

The District Leadership Committee’s (DLC) is responsible for ensuring the long-term success of the District by nominating candidates for the leadership roles of the District. Through an open process, the committee seeks out potential candidates, interviews and evaluates them, and finally submits nominated candidates for election at the District’s Annual Meeting of the District Council.

All candidates declaring for a 2025-2026 District Leadership role should declare their intent to run to Linda Dorn, DTM, PPQD, District Leadership Chair, no later than January 19, 2025.

The 2024-2025 DLC Report, and the list of nominated and floor candidates for 2025-2026 leadership roles, will be available in the 2024-2025 DLC Report tab below.

Floor Candidates

  • All floor candidates are required to declare their intent to run for election at least one (1) week (7 days) before the meeting. Floor candidates may only run for positions the DLC did not nominate the required number of candidates for.
  • If a position is invalid, all qualified candidates for that position must declare their intent to run as a floor candidate seven (7) days prior to the election. For example, if the required number of candidate(s) is not nominated, that position of the report is invalid. Therefore, any qualified candidate may run from the floor.
  • No nominations from the floor will be allowed during the council meeting.
