It is hard to believe that we are already more than halfway through the Toastmasters year!

The first half of the year was marked with many successes:

• We had a great in-person Summer TLI, that was enjoyed by all!
• We provided up-leveled, engaging, encouraging, and empowering Club Officer Training Sessions with a dedicated training team which resulted in some of the highest training numbers the District has seen in years with 41 clubs having 7 out 7 officers trained!
• We held the first ever Online Speech Contest Boot Camp to help contestants and non-contestants alike uplevel their presentations.

10 clubs earned the Distinguished Club Program: Incentive #1 – Gaining Momentum:

• Stagecoach Speakers – Early Risers
• Talking Heads Club
• Lakeville Toastmasters
• FarmTown Talkers
• Super Communicators
• Hutchinson II Toastmasters
• 3M Hutchinson Toastmasters
• Bright Monday Toastmasters
• TNT – Toastmasters-N-Technology

Each of them earned 5 DCP Points by December 31st and will be given a $25 Toastmasters Store Shopping Spree + FREE Shipping for their efforts.

While those things are without a doubt noteworthy, we believe we will have an even better second half of the year.

Our in-person District 6 Winter TLI is on Saturday, February 11^th. It will be a great time to connect with your fellow Toastmasters for some empowering education sessions, food, fun, and awards.

The District 6 Spring Conference is on April 28-29^th, at the Crowne Plaza by MSP in Bloomington.
