It is that time of the year to do some spring cleaning with your club and get ready for the fresh new year.
First, be sure that you have your new officer’s election. You will want to have all seven officers submitted into Toastmasters before June 30th and you can start now in May.
Second, submit your Toastmaster of the Year from your Club to your Area Director. This is an important recognition, and that member will go on to be nominated for area Toastmaster of the Year, Division Toastmaster of the Year and maybe all of the way to District Toastmaster of the Year.
Third, we are in our Beat the Clock membership drive until June 30th. Invite guests to your club meetings and have those open houses. You can do this and it will also probably push your club over to Distinguished if you have been using Pathways and have those DCP points.
To sweeten this spring challenge, we are adding an additional $50 incentive:
We will give a $50 gift certificate to clubs that get five or more members between the start of May and end of June.
