Evaluation is the Key to a Strong Toastmaster Club – Colleen Fritsch & Deb Miller
Summary: In this session, Deb and Colleen will showcase how effective evaluations can elevate club experiences. We’ll cover: Two strategies for delivering positive, growth-focused speech evaluations A framework for evaluating both novice and experienced speakers Essential do’s and don’ts for a successful General Evaluator, with practical tips to enhance meetings and foster leadership skills in members, no matter their role
Pathways; Pick Topics, Pick Projects; – Paul Lubinski, DTM
Summary: Are you or your club’s members struggling with what to do for your next Pathways project, or how to select the right project for your interests and preferred speech topics? That is a valid concern.
Session 2 (2-3pm)
Session 2 choices:
Key Steps to Plan Successful (In Person) International and Evaluation Contests – Linda Dorn, DTM
Summary: The spring International and Evaluation contests are required to be held IN PERSON at the Area, Division, and District levels. Attend this session to learn how to plan and execute both contests from A-Z. Attendees will receive a Speech Contest Planning Guide with helpful resources.
3-5 Key Points Attendees Will Take Away from the Presentation Attend this session to learn: *Key steps to plan each contest *Required roles for each contest (remember, the evaluation contest requires a test speaker) *Where to find contest resources * Requirements for contestants *Scripts to use for Chief Judge and Contestant Briefings And MORE!
Mastering Toastmasters Reports: Introduction to Excel and Pivot Tables– Stephen Krutzfeldt
Summary: During this course we will be covering some beginner as well as intermediate and advanced reporting capabilities built into Microsoft Excel. The purpose of this presentation is to arm the participants with the knowledge and resources needed to get more out of Toastmasters reports.
