Is your Club Visible?

The goals of public relations (PR) are to build a positive reputation, increase brand awareness, and manage relationships. One way that you can increase brand awareness is making sure that visitors can find your club. I suggest that you register your club in Google My Business.

Registering your club on Google My Business is FREE to do. First access Google My Business at https://www.google.com/business and follow the prompts to register your club. Make sure that you open the Google My Business profile for your club with a dedicated GMAIL address. Ideally the GMAIL address of the club so that in the following years that address can be passed on to whoever will manage the Public Relations aspects of the Club and will be able to keep on updating the club Google My Business entry.

There are video tutorials for Google My Business available at https://youtu.be/81nhmYRTYZM (less than 15 minutes).

For a more detailed set of instructions, see the workshop of Paola Perina, District 109 PRM, who has long been promoting this approach to making clubs visible. The workshop is linked here:

Hopefully by making your club visible, the club will gain more guests who become members.
