Right now, start planning which contest that you are going to participate in as the Area Speech Contests are coming up soon.  Also make sure to support your members by volunteering in your Area and Division contest.

All Spring Contests will be in-person, except the Online finals at the District 6 Conference at the end of April.

We will have two spring speech contests in person: Evaluation and International.

The first contest will be the Evaluation Contest where a featured speaker will present a speech and the competitors will each present an evaluation of that speech, and the best evaluator will win.  This is like table topics in that you don’t know what you are going to be evaluating or speaking on  until the contest event speech. This is a very exciting contest that everyone can participate in, so I hope that everyone will submit your name for this exciting Spring contest!

The second contest is the International contest. It is named this because it goes all the way to the Toastmasters International Conference stage for the finalists. This is any topic of your choice, and it is a classic presented speech. You can prepare and practice as many times as you want. This is a very exciting annual tradition and the TI Conference this August 2025 will be in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

If you are looking to volunteer, all Areas and Divisions will need judges, ballot counters, timers, and a Toastmasters to support the Contest Chair in hosting the Area and Division contests. These contests will all be in person so check with your Area and Division Director to see if you can travel to the contest location and be a participant in their volunteer team.
