A club coach is an experienced Toastmaster who coaches a low member club (no more than 12 paid members) to rebuild membership and rejuvenate the club environment. A club can have up to two club coaches at one time. The goal of a coach is to help the club achieve recognition in the Distinguished Club Program. Serving as a successful club coach counts toward completion of your Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
Build rapport with club leaders and members
Instill enthusiasm, comradery and structure within the club
Assess the club environment and recommending best practices for success
Work with club leaders to develop a Club Success Plan
Encourage the club to strive for Distinguished Club Program recognition
Position Requirements:
Be a paid member in good standing with Toastmasters International.
Not be an existing member of the club at the time of appointment.
