There is excitement in the air as we are seeing the fruit of our labors from this past year!

• Four clubs that started their journey last year are on the brink of chartering!
•  Low member clubs who crafted plans to rebuild are seeing slow but steady progress!
• We are seeing member increases across the district!
•  I truly believe that this is the Year of the Comeback!

We just finished a Great Round 1 of Club Office Training!

How did we do that?

We set the Stage for Success by setting out to intentionally uplevel the Club Officer Training Experience. 

With a dedicated training team, we held 14 Sessions from June 1 – August 31^st.  By having a dedicated team, we incorporated feedback in real-time and held monthly retrospectives so that we were giving the club officers of District 6 our personal best.

We communicated a clear goal of every District 6 Club having all 7 Officers Trained – in both rounds. 

We coupled that with a Club Officer Training Incentive.  Every club that has all 7 officers trained in both rounds will earn a Club Officer Pin Set. 

The results: 

• 9 Clubs had 0 out of 7 Officers Trained
• 8 Clubs had 1 out of 7 Officers Trained
• 4 Clubs had 2 out of 7 Officers Trained
• 6 Clubs had 3 out of 7 Officers Trained
• 15 Clubs had 4 out of 7 Officers Trained
• 20 Clubs had 5 out of 7 Officers Trained
• 16 Clubs had 6 out of 7 Officers Trained
• 41 Clubs had 7 of 7 Officers Trained
• 578 Club Officers Trained!!

Round 2 of Club Officer Training will start on November 1^st and end on February 28^th.

Like Round 1, we will have 14 training sessions.

I believe that as we continue to be intentional in our efforts to uplevel the member experience, strengthen existing clubs, build new clubs, and look for ways to take the district to the next level, it will be a Win for ALL!  Last year’s ceiling can become the floor that we build from.

From a training perspective, there will be many opportunities for members to learn and grow in meaningful ways. We will be having podcasts, webinars, a Contest Bootcamp, a Winter TLI, a Spring Conference, and much more! Our heart is to provide training opportunities that add value to every arena of your life, which in turn will increase the value you find in your Toastmasters Journey.

As a District Trio, we are diligently seeking ways to make the year ahead one of the best ones District 6 has ever known!  Each of you plays a key role in making that a reality!
