Dear Fellow Toastmasters,

Get ready for an exciting new program year! As of July 1, 2025, Toastmasters International is rolling out significant updates to the Club Success Plan and the Distinguished Club Program (DCP).

New Club Success Plan Requirement for Distinguished Status

Starting July 1, 2025, a key change for clubs aiming for distinguished recognition is the required submission of a Club Success Plan by September 30, 2025. This plan, which serves as our club’s roadmap for the year (think of it as our Key Performance Indicator, or KPI!), is a helpful planning tool for charting our course and ensuring a successful program year.

The good news? Toastmasters International has streamlined the Club Success Plan! They’ve reduced the number of questions and made portions optional, so clubs should find that reaching 100% completion is more accessible than ever before. This improved version will be available online via Club Central on the Toastmasters website after July 1. For those who prefer a document, a PDF version can also be uploaded.

You can access the current PDF version of the Club Success Plan here: https://www.toastmasters.org/resources/1111a-club-success-plan

Updates to the Distinguished Club Program

In addition to the Club Success Plan requirement, the Distinguished Club Program itself has some changes. Toastmasters International has introduced a new Smedley level for our highest-achieving clubs and made adjustments to some of the member-level requirements.
