The Year of the Bounce Back

This past year was a challenging year for all of us, and yet, I believe we have the opportunity to pivot from the difficulties of this past year and look forward with a renewed sense of HOPE. We have the opportunity to bounce back and be stronger than what we have previously been. Each of us doing our part will be key to our success. First and foremost, we must choose to focus on what we can do not on what we can’t do. If we will focus on what we can do, we will be amazed at the opportunities we will begin to see. The Club Growth Team and I want to do our part to help District 6 have one of the Best Years Yet! We would love to have you partner with us!

Club Growth Research Team

I am excited to have Lucas Ovans serve as Club Research Chair. He is building upon the tremendous work that he began last year to identify new potential club opportunities within District 6. Lucas will be the first one to tell you that looking at research data makes his brain synapses happy. If you enjoy research and want to help discover new club opportunities, I encourage you to join the Club Growth Research Team.

Club Extension Team

I am excited to have Past District Governor and 2021 Presidential Citation Recipient, Pat Croal, DTM, serve as the Club Extension Chair. She comes to the table with a wealth of knowledge, wisdom, and experience coupled with a heart of gold. She loves making cold calls that result in warm win-win outcomes and wants to help you do the same. If you are interested in developing your sales, marketing, and relationship building skills that results in the formation of new clubs, I encourage you to join the Club Extension Team.

 New Club Kick Off Team

I am excited to have Anne Groetsch, DTM as the New Club Kick Off Chair. She is a seasoned and accomplished Toastmaster as well as the 2020-2021 Division N Area Director of the Year. She has added tremendous value to the teams she has engaged with it whether that has been as a leader or as a member. If you are interested in helping demonstrate what a quality club looks like to prospective new clubs, I encourage you to join the New Club Kick Off Team.

Club Retention Team

I am excited to announce that Past District Governor and 2021 Presidential Citation Recipient, Keith Hardy, DTM has accepted the role of Club Retention Chair. He has served District 6, 106, and 75 and is a strategic thinker who has been instrumental in driving meaningful outcomes in the districts and organization he has served. He will be partnering with the Division Directors to help strategize ways to drive Member Retention within their respective divisions. If you are passionate about strengthening clubs and promoting member retention, I encourage you to join the Club Retention Team.

Club Coach Chair

I am excited to have Brian Hinton, DTM, serving as this year’s Club Coach Chair. He is a 25-year Toastmaster with 6 DTMs. His greatest joys are helping fellow Toastmasters achieve their goals as well as helping Clubs maximize their strengths with the support of effective coaches. He has a proven track record of delivering quality results that are a delight to the recipients. Our goal is to provide as many clubs who are coach eligible with a coach to help them move from simply surviving to thriving. If you are interested in making a meaningful difference in the life of a club or are a club that is interested in taking your club to the next level, let us know.

Successful Lead Resulting in a New Club Charter

Any District 6 Toastmaster that provides a viable lead resulting in a New Club Charter will receive a $50 Toastmasters.org Shopping Spree (the District will pay for shipping).

New Club Banner

All New Clubs will receive a Toastmasters Branded Club Banner paid for by the District.

Club Growth Incentives

New Club Lectern

All New Clubs that charter within 30 Days of Kick Off Meeting will receive a Toastmasters Branded Lectern paid for by the District.

Gaining Momentum – Club Growth Incentive – Net Gain of 3+ Members

Any club that achieves a net gain of 3 or more new, dual, or reinstated members for the current program year as reflected on the December 31, 2021 Distinguished Performance Report will receive a $25 Toastmasters.org Shopping Spree (the District will pay for shipping).

Accelerating – Club Growth Incentive – Net Gain of 5+ Members

Any club that achieves a net gain of 5 or more new, dual, or reinstated members for the current program year as reflected on the April 30, 2022 Distinguished Performance Report will receive a $50 Toastmasters.org Shopping Spree (the District will pay for shipping).

Finishing Strong – Club Growth Incentive – Net Gain of 3+ Members

Any club that achieves a net gain of 3 or more new, dual, or reinstated members for the current program year as reflected on the May 31, 2022 Distinguished Performance Report will receive a $25 Toastmasters.org Shopping Spree (the District will pay for shipping)
