Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI), Club Officer Training, and Contests…Oh my!

We have many opportunities for you to grow both personally and professionally in Toastmasters. We grow by engaging in quality meetings at the club level, by attending other clubs’ meetings, and learning through special programming offered by our areas, divisions, and district. Below are some highlights of resources and events to help you in your clubs and in your journey as a Toastmaster. 

Club Officer Training: We have 3 more club officer training sessions available. Officers, if you have not already attended round two of training, we look forward to seeing you soon! Winter Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI): The Winter TLI is FREE, online, and open to everyone (including your family, friends, colleagues, guests….) The morning begins with a KEYNOTE from 2021 World Champion of Public Speaking, Verity Price, who will share a speech on “How to Write a Winning Speech”. The morning continues with 3 educational sessions and an awards ceremony. We hope to see you on February 12 beginning at 8 AM– Register today! We’re looking for moderators at each of the sessions to take attendance, introduce the presenters, watch chat, and to record the sessions. Contest Season: Our two categories this year are Tall Tales and International. Our Areas, Divisions, and the District are looking for Toastmasters who wish to serve in the various contest roles. We need Toastmasters, Contest Chairs, Chief Judges, Judges, Timers, Ballot Counters and more! Reach out to your Area, Division Directors, or to PQD, Linda Dorn if you are interested in volunteering OR you can fill out this form. Help Wanted: We are looking for a Logistics Manager for this program year and MANY roles for next program year, especially Area Directors! You are invited to review the opportunities here. I have grown in my time management, project management, communication, and leadership skills by serving as an Area Director, Division Director, Club Growth Director, and now as the Program Quality Director.
